Foreign National Visitors Travel Reimbursement

Due to IRS/Homeland Security requirements, Brown University now requires us to verify that foreign nationals have the appropriate visa to allow for travel reimbursement.

Brown University cannot reimburse or pay anyone who traveled on a Tourist Visa (B-2 or WT stamps). If you are receiving a B1/B2 visa or have a visa waiver, please be sure that your I-94 reflects the B-1 or WB classification. Please check your I-94 after passing through US customs to be sure you received the correct classification. If the classification is incorrect, you can ask them to correct it before you leave the airport or we can help correct it only if you are still in the US.
